- June 14-18- Little Scientist-1:00-4:00, Darby Building, Ages 4-7
- June 28-July 2- Rocket Camp- 9:00-12:00 Park West Rec.- 2nd-5th Graders
- June 28th-July 2- STEAM Power- 1:00-4:00 Park West Rec.-1st-5th

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
LITTLE SCIENTIST
AGES 4-7
Campers will complete amazing scientific experiments that will wow! Explore science tools while creating concoctions that stick, just, bubble, sizzle, fizz, and change color. The session includes cooking, bubbles, amazing experiments, coding robots, building kits, and learning the science behind the WOW!

6/14 – 6/18, 1 – 4 pm
ROCKET CAMP
GRADES 2-5
5-4-3-2-1 Rocketry Camp is a Blast Each child will build and launch his/ her own rocket, which will go over 500 feet into the air. There will be daily launches and experiments to learn about Newton’s Laws of Motion and the four forces of flight.

6/28 – 7/2, 9 am – 12 pm
STEAM POWER
GRADES 1-5 Rising 1st – 5th grades
Each day, children will complete experiments that gurgle, fizz, erupt, and surprise! Make and erupt volcanoes in 6 different ways. Learn all about how earthquakes, glaciers, and how storms change our world through hands-on experiments. Make fossils, break geodes, create geysers, and much more!

COOKING AND SLIME, Part I
GRADES 1-6 CAMP:
PART I Rising 1st – 6th grades
Your child will make solar pizza ovens, ice cream, desserts, and all kinds of yummy food. Slime making of all kinds is included, from the basic recipe to edible slime.
The recipes are different for Cooking/Slime Part I and II.

7/12 – 7/16, 9 am – 12 pm
COOKING AND SLIME, Part II
GRADES 1-6 CAMP:
PART II Rising 1st – 6th grades
Your child will make bread, granola, bundt cakes, cookies, and lots more. Your child will become a slime pro and understand the science behind slime making. The recipes are different for Cooking/Slime Part I and II. Enroll in one or both.

STEAM Explorers
AGES-6-11
This camp is full of surprises with a taste of STEAM lessons. Learn about physical and chemical reactions with cool experiments. Program a robot to follow an obstacle course. Make gummy worms from scratch and experiment to make the best slime! Explore motion, rocketry, and electricity through hands-on, exciting fun. Daily engineering challenges utilize a wide range of materials to design, build, and create structures. Don’t miss this adventure to be a STEAM Explorer! This camp can be combined with The Charleston Museum Summer Camp for a full day of fun!
